Bull Creek Village Cleanup
A group of around 40 volunteers from Home Depot, Convoy of Hope, and the Branson-Hollister Senior Center came together on a late spring day in May to clean up the Bull Creek Village. They spent about 5 hours cleaning up after the season’s record flooding.
Bull Creek feeds into Lake Taneycomo; unexpected flash flooding left the Bull Creek Village looking like a tornado’s aftermath. Floors were soaked, furniture ruined, and deck rails crushed.
Don ‘Pete’ Peterson, president of the Center, was asked to make arrangements for food for the workers. We are thankful for the delicious goodies that were donated. Krispy Kreme supplied doughnuts, Branson-Hollister Senior Center made the coffee, Mr. G’s and Hook and Ladder delivered pizzas, and the Branson Bank provided cookies.
Thanks to all who made the day a success!
